Rottweiler
- Size giant
- Protector
- Tranquilo
- Independiente
Composed and self-assured when well raised. Its strength demands early socialisation that is not optional, and in several jurisdictions it is subject to specific regulation.
Play meet-ups
Check your local rules before meeting up: a muzzle and third-party liability insurance are compulsory in some municipalities. PetMatch warns you when a profile declares a breed regulated in your country.
Antes de plantear una camada
Dysplasia and heart disease. JLPP has a genetic test; in a breed this strong, the parents' temperament weighs as much as their health.
Recommended health tests
- Hip dysplasia
- Elbow dysplasia
- Cardiac screening
- JLPP
- Brucellosis
PetMatch does not certify any of these tests, nor does it replace your vet's judgement.
