Dachshund
- Size small
- Independiente
- Enérgico
- Protector
Bred to go down burrows, with all the determination that requires. Its long back is its signature and its weak point.
Play meet-ups
Avoid jumping games and dogs that barge. One jump off the sofa does it more harm than an hour running on the flat.
Antes de plantear una camada
Intervertebral disc disease (IVDD) is hereditary and common. There is radiographic screening for calcification; without it, the litter inherits the problem.
Recommended health tests
- IVDD
- PRA
- Brucellosis
PetMatch does not certify any of these tests, nor does it replace your vet's judgement.
