Chihuahua

• Size toy
• Protector
• Enérgico
• Independiente

A big dog inside a tiny body, with all the confidence that implies. Much of its reputation for grumpiness comes from the fact that it is almost never socialised like a proper dog.

Play meet-ups

Better with dogs its own size. Picking it up when another dog approaches reinforces exactly the fear you are trying to remove.

Antes de plantear una camada

Small litters and a high caesarean rate. It is one of the breeds where breeding without veterinary supervision puts the female at genuine risk.
