Border Collie
- Size medium
- Enérgico
- Independiente
- Juguetón
The most intelligent dog by almost any measure, and for that same reason the one that handles boredom worst. With no task to do, it invents one: herding children, cars or the vacuum cleaner.
Play meet-ups
It looks for dogs that can keep up. Watch the herding: chasing and blocking another dog is instinct, but the other dog may not find it funny at all.
Antes de plantear una camada
The MDR1 mutation — sensitivity to common medications — and Collie eye anomaly. Both have a genetic test available, and a cheap one.
Recommended health tests
- Hip dysplasia
- CEA
- MDR1
- PRA
- Brucellosis
PetMatch does not certify any of these tests, nor does it replace your vet's judgement.
